Due to internal promotion, we are in search of an engaging and inspiring senior sales leader to join this team as their new Director of Sales with responsibility for their Primary Care team.

This position must be Melbourne based.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and develop the sales strategy for the Primary Care division.
  • Lead a team of 8 seasoned Sales Managers and trainers across Australia and New Zealand.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop and drive implementation of sales plans.
  • Cultivate a high-performing sales culture centred around excellence and achieving key objectives.
  • Provide leadership to the training team and spearhead key projects.
  • Ensure the salesforce has the necessary capabilities to succeed in current and future markets.
  • Foster innovation, adaptability, and up-to-date product knowledge within the sales team.

To be successful for this role, the following is required:

  • Bachelor of Science, Business or related fields.
  • Second line sales management experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in additional functions outside of sales.
  • Proven track record of leading high performing teams.
  • Deep understanding and experience in working in primary.
  • Engaging and empowering leadership style
