We have an exceptional opportunity for a dispensary based pharmacist to join our team.  This is a new role for our department and would suit someone that enjoys a dynamic environment.  The ideal candidate would oversee and be responsible for all 'in-pharmacy' activities that include (but is not limited to) screening and checking charts and outpatient prescriptions,  help with procurement issues, supply chemotherapy and other infusions to day stay patients, supply controlled drugs to the wards and checking all kits created by the department that would be distributed to the hospital. 

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with the multidisciplinary team focusing on medication safety to implement the Health Quality & Safety Commission initiative. We will provide you with exciting work experience and offer you a platform to gain valuable clinical pharmacy knowledge. We are also very supportive of any further training or education you wish to pursue. We reward past experience, qualifications and skills and will offer remuneration accordingly. The remuneration range for this role is $73,037 - $118,982 and is covered by the collective agreement:

Successful applicants can prove a Bachelor degree in Pharmacy recognised in New Zealand with a NZ pharmacist registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate.

Overseas pharmacists will be considered if you can meet the requirements to receive a work permission.
