My client is a niche, boutique Building Services consultancy with a high energy, high performing team of 30 based centrally in Auckland. With established, well networked leadership they have strategically grown in recent years and now require an experienced Electrical Building Services Engineer to become an integral part of their business. Projects are broad and of scale typically in the $25-$100 M+ range and include Commercial, Retail, Office, Industrial, Apartment and Civic projects. You will be exposed to a breadth of electrical work from lighting design, to power, data, security and CCTV. With a tight-knit, flat structured team, along with solid technical experience you must be a team player with passion, energy and drive to deliver exceptional project outcomes.
Your Skills:
- Tertiary qualified Electrical Engineer
- Consulting background in commercial, retail, multilevel residential or industrial projects
- Technically competent in Electrical Building Services including LV supply and distribution, lighting, data, communications and fire systems
- CPEng or approaching desired (Engineering NZ)
- Experience with AGI 32, Dialux, or similar lighting software
- 4 years + consulting experience with at least a couple working to NZ codes and standards
- Excellent oral and written communication and influencing skills
- Experience working across the full project life cycle including construction monitoring and contractor supervision
- Current valid work visa and based in or imminent arrival to Auckland
The Role:
Electrical Building Services leadership on projects of scale, typically $25-$100 M+. Varied work across a range of sectors from project conception through to completion including construction administration. Mentor and support Junior colleagues alongside an established leadership team.
