About the opportunity:
Our client, a progressive company with high levels of achievement in the electrical trade, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Telco Power Sector Team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on real projects with the latest technologies and contribute to the ever changing landscape of electrical design in the Telco Power Sector.
Role description:
The Electrical Engineer will be an integral part of the growing Telco Power Sector Electrical Team, actively involved in designing and delivering high-quality electrical solutions.
Responsibilities will include:
- Utilise CAD Experience or other 3D programs to contribute to electrical system designs.
- Efficiently manage time and projects to meet deadlines and deliver quality solutions.
- Contribute to the design and development of various electrical systems, including AC/DC systems, switchboard distribution, UPS, generators, data center designs, and solar power applications.
- Collaborate closely with the Telco Power team to ensure seamless project execution and success.
- Embrace a hands-on, practical approach to engineering tasks, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.
This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities:
- Relevant university degree in Electrical Engineering
- Self-motivation and initiative, with attention to detail and a drive for results
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
- Openness to new ideas, adaptability, and a willingness to embrace change and innovation
- Prior experience in electrical design (preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate)
