This Wellington team seeks an enthusiastic and dynamic Engineering Lead to spearhead the Civil & Water space. Capitalize on the established services offered in the other locations but cater them to the local market here in Wellington.
The Role:
As an Engineering Lead, you will be accountable for leading the local project expertise within Civil and Water to meet deliverables. The deliverables will include business development, client relationship management, planning and tracking of the pipeline, and the specialist Civil and Water expertise for delivery. Leading a productive and engaged team with the right capability and capacity will ensure on-time, in-full, and in-specification execution of project work, in turn allowing the client to meet their project expectations, across all sectors. Provide oversight of quality delivery, workload, pipeline, and productivity of the team.
Above all the Engineering Lead will implement adherence to safety plans HSE legislation, codes, and practices.
The candidate:
- 8+ years of experience working in a complex civil engineering environment
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering ( chartership or working towards NZ chartership is highly advantageous)
- Experience leading and collaborating within project teams
- Proficiency in influence and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated commercial acumen in project contexts
- Successful leadership experience in New Zealand
- Valid driver's license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
