Our client is a company based in New Zealand that specializes in traffic management & engineering solutions, including custom-built trucks, equipment rental, and the preparation and execution of plans and training. 
   
At present, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer who has expertise in designing, analyzing, and optimizing mechanical systems, as well as a strong foundation in mathematics and physics. 
  
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include: 

• Custom Building & Modifying Trucks Such As Traffic Management, Road Sweeping, Tow, Rubbish Vehicles & More 
• Repairs & Maintenance Of Vehicles 
• Some Electrical Work 
• Tig/Flux Core Welding Steel & Aluminum 
• Attaching Decks & Other Items To Trucks  
• Keeping Workshop Clean & Tidy 
• Operating Class 1/2 Vehicles 
• General Duties As Required 

The successful candidate must have a valid Class 1 and 2 license. Must pass pre-employment drug test, MOJ and medical if needed. Prior experience is an advantage. Open for NZ Citizens / Residents and on a valid open work visa.
