Contract: Rostered rotating, Permanent Part-Time (0.9 FTE)
Salary: As per NZNO MECA Step 1-4 (depending on experience)
Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role
An exciting opportunity for an enrolled nurse has arisen to join our team on a permanent, part time or full-time basis. You - ll be working on rostered and rotating shifts, within a dynamic and friendly multi-disciplinary team. You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Gerontology nursing - gerontological nurses recognise that most human beings value health, are responsible and active participants in their health maintenance and illness management, and desires harmony and wholeness with their environment.
Older Adult, Rehabilitation and Allied Health Service (ORA) operates from all 3 main hospital sites - Wellington, Kenepuru Hospital (Porirua) and Kapiti Health Centre. It provides inpatient, outpatient and community goal directed inter disciplinary assessment and treatment of the older person and rehabilitation services for people aged 16 years older including Older Person - s Rehab, General Rehab and Stroke Rehab in community, inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ORA inpatient service is provided on the Kenepuru campus and is currently configured with 20 beds in Wards 4 and 5, Health of the older person service.
Ward 6 rehabilitation provides rehabilitation services for people aged 16 years older including Older Person - s Rehab, General Rehab and Stroke Rehab
