We have an opportunity to join our Corporate and Finance group as a Financial Systems Analyst.

Reporting to the Financial Systems Manager, as a Financial Systems Analyst, you'll be responsible for:

  • A variety of system administration tasks such as triaging the FMIS inbox; responding to systems queries (up to third level) from a range of channels to ensure accurate, timely information is available to the business; maintaining GL accounts and cost centres; month end system processes for EPM and ERP.
  • Completing regular security reviews and supporting project work.
  • Developing and maintaining user manuals and business process documentation.
  • Analysis of issues including quarterly releases and testing.

This role has the chance to gain experience on a range of business wide projects and the opportunity for growth in the role as we move towards transitioning some of the SaaS services back in-house.

This is a permanent role, based in Wellington.

You may be working as a Financial Analyst currently, but looking to gain experience in a bigger, more complex organisation, or you might have a solid foundation of experience as a Systems Administrator and be looking for your next step. Either way, you'll have experience working across both EPM and ERP, supporting Oracle based Finance systems and business processes.

We'll also be looking for:

  • Excellent analytical ability, system investigation skills and proven experience working with customers to get to the heart of the challenge and propose fit for purpose and pragmatic solutions.
  • Resilience, initiative, and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to spot trends or opportunities.
  • Demonstrable understanding of financial and business processes.

The appointing salary range for this role is approximately $101,287 - $119,161 with appointment depending on skills and experience. ACC also offers 9% superannuation.
