Description
Your responsibilities will include:
- Addressing customer inquiries related to electrical and generator services.
- Performing a wide range of high-voltage electrical repairs.
- Maintenance and care of hire company generators, lighting towers, and associated electrical equipment.
- Construction of new power distribution boxes.
- Fabrication of new power cables.
- Conducting field service repairs to fulfil customers' electrical requirements.
Requirements:
- Must be a licensed electrician in New Zealand
- A Minimum Class 1 Drivers license.
- Monday to Friday 7.30 – 5pm
- Some weekend work, including callouts.
Added value skillsets:
- A ‘people person’ with natural ability to upsell, and promote the business on the job
- Must be confident in vehicle towing and backing.
- Class 2 & 4 would be ideal but essential.
- Proficient in diesel engine mechanics
- An understanding of Alternators
- A willingness to learn.
Pay rate:
- This role also presents an exciting opportunity for advancement within the company as we continue to grow. The salary offered will be commensurate with your skills and experience, ranging from $80,000 to $100,000.
