Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
We have a permanent part-time position available working 64 hours a fortnight (0.8 FTE) as rostered across all shifts.As a Health Care Assistant you will be part of our dedicated nursing environment with full support. Your role is to work within the team to assist nursing staff in care delivery, one-to-one patient watches and other tasks as directed.

We are looking for people with a mature outlook, the ability to get on with a wide variety of people and who have excellent communication skills. They will also have the ability to work in a flexible and methodical manner, demonstrate honesty and reliability, and use appropriate initiative.
Experience within the health sector is preferred, but is not essential as full training will be provided.

*NZQA Level 3: New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing - Health Assistance Strand, if not previously obtained, is to be commenced once orientations have been attended.
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
