Join our Community and Whānau Wellbeing team at Te Whatu Ora, Southern at a key time of change where you will meaningfully contribute to our kaupapa of working in partnership with communities to identify and address health and wellbeing priorities.
Our team has an equity focus working in partnership with communities. We work in various settings to promote health and wellbeing, reduce inequities and work alongside focus populations to support them in building on their strengths to address priorities, for example, alcohol harm reduction, workplace wellbeing, and mental wellbeing.

Mōu ake - About you
We are looking for a motivated team member who enjoys connecting and working with community partners and settings, such as workplaces and NGOs.
In this role you will build and maintain great working relationships with community partners in Southland to support the implementation of health promotion strategies, and work with workplaces to support sustainable health promotion approaches to workplace wellbeing.
You will have excellent organisational, communication and computer skills. You will have the confidence to build successful working relationships with those around you, the ability to work independently or within a multidisciplinary team environment. You will also bring experience in community development or health promotion.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Multi Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($74,842) and Step7 ($104,466) p.a pro rata
