House Officer - PGY2+

Timaru Hospital

Full Time - starting July 2024

Timaru Hospital is looking for motivated House Officers who are keen to step up and take on the extra responsibility and opportunities provided in our District. You will gain exposure to a number of different runs; each run is 3 months in duration. We are looking for team players who are self-motivated and take initiative.

You will be supported by hands on Clinical Supervisors

Access to the library, weekly teaching, Grand Rounds and regular RMO forums, you will be continually supported in your development.

Minimum 1 year post qualification experience working in a House Officer role in New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom or Ireland.

A current CV and cover letter.

Be available to start in July 2024

You must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand and be eligible for general or provisional registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.

Being certified through EPIC is now compulsory and we therefore recommend that applicants have registered their professional credentials with EPIC.
