HR Business Partner

Te tūranga - The role
As an HR Business Partner, you will develop effective business-partnerships with stakeholders in assigned portfolios.

You will provide leadership and sound HR advice in order to assist the business and to support the delivery of people processes and initiatives in line with the overarching group strategy and key work programme.

The role is key to shaping the culture of the Bank through ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive programme of work designed to lift capability and drive empowerment and self-management.

Ō pūkenga - About you
To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • 8 plus years of experience in a similar role
  • The ability to build and manage stakeholder relationships
  • Understanding of NZ employment law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A continuous improvement mindset and proactive approach to change
  • Proven experience working across multiple human resources disciplines, including remuneration practices, employee relations, performance management, change management, engagement and workforce planning
