About the opportunity:
Our client, a well-established company located in Onehunga, Auckland, is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Sales Engineer / Estimator to join their team!
This position will cover a wide range of responsibilities, including opportunity development, project pricing and management of the sale process. This is a senior role within the business working closely with the GM.
Responsibilities will include:
- Generating targeted project opportunities focused on the industrial and commercial sector to price.
- Accurately and competitively pricing these projects in a timely manner based on documentation provided.
- Building a pipeline of project work.
- Contact and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers.
This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities:
- Proven experience in a similar role in the HVAC sector would be optimal.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment and industry practices.
- Strong ability to analyse project requirements and accurately quote project jobs.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
