This is a well led medium size contractor with a strong and reputable brand covering all interior fit out and refurbishments for commercial and residential jobs. Areas of trade include suspended ceilings, insulation, ceilings, fixings, stoppings and painting. Given the variety of work, this presents as a great opportunity for a QS to diversify project experience and be involved in all stages of the process from estimating through final accounts. You will be running several jobs at a time.
As a QS you will be involved in the entire process both pre and post contract, from tender management and preparing estimates, post contract work including controlling all costs on projects, certifying subcontractors work, identifying variations, costing variation works, agreeing subcontractors final accounts and reporting to directors. There will be site visits involved.
As an applicant, you have:
- 3 - 4 years of QS experience either in an interiors main or sub-contractor
- You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, especially strong in negotiation
- Highly analytical
- A team player
Salary $90K - $110K + car parking.
