Role description:
The Developer/Senior Developer role involves creating software using modern software engineering principles (SOLID, AGILE, KISS, DRY) and participating in the design, development, and support of GBS products and solutions. Technical support provision and adherence to project management and reporting standards are integral to the role.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing software based on modern engineering principles.
- Collaborating in the design, development, and testing of products and solutions.
- Cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Providing support for our clients' products and solutions.
- Offering technical support to team members as required.
This role will suit someone with all or some of the following background/experience/qualities:
- A strong understanding of Esri products and software, especially ArcGIS API for JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Node, Python, C#/.Net/.Net Core, ASP.Net (MVC), TypeScript, Esri Experience Builder, Arcade
- Experience in Solution Design and Solution Architecture would also be desirable
- Experience with Agile methodologies, in particular SCRUM
