Mō te tūnga | About the role
The Network Enabled Army (NEA) Programme will introduce a deployable, networked Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capability for the New Zealand Army. Both military and civilian personnel support this programme in a variety of ways.
Specifically, the NEA IT Instructor will conduct training for personnel in a number of theoretical areas from radio, satellite and information system network operation and management, to operation and management of peripheral services such as reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence systems.
As an instructor you will deliver learning solutions to Army during the ‘Introduction into Service', and assist with the integration of NEA learning solutions and systems.
This position can be based at either Linton, Trentham or Burnham Military Camps, however, regular travel to all three will be a requirement of this role. Please indicate your location preference within your covering letter.
