Location: Palmerston North, Mid Central
Service: MHAIDS, Regional Forensic Service
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: $59,834 - $89,512 PSA (Based on skills and experience)
About the Role:
Our client is seeking dedicated registered nurses to provide critical liaison and consultation services to various agencies, including Courts, Prisons, Justice Departments, Mental Health, Police, Government, and Community Agencies. Your role involves addressing mental health and addiction matters and associated problems within these agencies. You'll leverage your clinical and medical-legal knowledge to offer rapid, high-quality assessments for individuals with, or at risk of, mental health and addiction issues.
About Our Team:
Our client's team is an integral part of Te Korowai-Whāriki, operating as the Central Regional Forensic Mental Health Service. They work at the crossroads of Mental Health Services and the Justice System, covering various settings: prisons, courts, community, and inpatient facilities. Their services include assessments and rehabilitation for defendants facing criminal charges and offenders with psychiatric illnesses.
