About the role: 

Right now, we have an exciting entry level opportunity for a Kai Manaaki - Health Navigator to join our Cardiology team on a permanent 0.5 FTE working 20 hours per week. This role will be based in Whangarei, but will cover Te Tai Tokerau. 

In this role you will work closely with the Cardiology Service to enable access and equity for people of Te Tai Tokerau. The Cardiology Service provides cardiac care for people who are in hospital, need to attend outpatient appointments and those living in the community.  There is a number of different teams within the Cardiology service and the service is continuing to grow.   

This is a permanent 0.5 FTE role working 20 hours per week. 

Requirements: 

  • Current clean driver's license
  • Available to travel throughout Northland
  • Ability to work with whanau and build relationships
  • Proven organisational and time management skills
  • Motivated and eager to learn new things
