Description
We are currently seeking a Labourer to assist with an ongoing role in Dairy Flat. We are looking for a reliable person that is looking for a role that they can 'make their own'. What we offer is a good rate, ongoing work, good hours, and the opportunity to be part of a great team.
The role form part of the Gas Team in the Redvale Landfill. The gas team lay pipe around the landfill and connect the pipework to gas wells. The wells collect the landfill gas and deliver it to the energy park where they use the gas to run the generators. The electricity is then exported to the National Grid.
The work can by quite physical, and you will be exposed to the elements.
The role:
- Laying pipework in shallow trenches
- Gas field monitoring and reporting
- Operating plant
- Monitoring the gas at the wells
- Washing machinery with a high-pressure hose
- Other general labouring jobs as required.
Requirements:
- Great communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Physically fit
- Must be able to pass a drug test
