Description
We are seeking dedicated traffic controllers who can join one of our well-known clients. As a traffic controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safe and orderly traffic flow in various settings. If you hold a current traffic control licence and are flexible with shift times, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Control and direct traffic in accordance with established safety guidelines and regulations.
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, including cones, signs, and barricades.
- Communicate effectively with team members and motorists to ensure a smooth flow of traffic.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or issues to the supervisor.
- Adapt to changing work conditions and schedules as needed, including night shifts and weekends.
Qualifications:
- Valid Traffic Control Licence (TC Licence)
- Previous experience in traffic control is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends (notice will be given)
- Strong communication skills
- Be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
- New Zealand resident or valid work visa.
