Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role

Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor, able to manage the provision of a high-quality maintenance service that ensures property maintenance, planned programmes and minor capital work is accurately prioritised, processed and delivered in a timely manner and to budget?

Other key tasks include monitoring and reporting on all maintenance work and contractor performance and competence. You will be working collaboratively with other Kāinga Ora business units and teams to ensure that maintenance is delivered to agreed standards and that customer satisfaction targets are achieved.

Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A tertiary qualification in a property or maintenance-related field, or equivalent experience in construction/building and working with contractors.
  • Experience in programme maintenance workflows and building maintenance, coupled with a sound knowledge and understanding of contract issues.
  • A customer-centric approach, with the ability to multitask and pick up new skills quickly.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to understand and apply processes, along with computer literacy with the Microsoft Office suite.

A current New Zealand driver's license is also required in this role.
