A Leadership role for a modern and future focused data architecture professional.

Te tūranga - The role
The Manager, Data Platform and Architecture will work with stakeholders throughout Te Pūtea Matua on how they engage and use our data analytics platform. You will work closely with the wider organisation to deliver the RBNZs information and data strategy through sound data architecture and engineering practice, ensuring the strategy supports current and future business needs.

This role is responsible for leading a team of data professionals to deliver solid data architecture practices to Te Pūtea Matua and manage the delivery and growth of the enterprise data platform capability.

Ō pūkenga - About you
To be successful in one of these roles you'll have:

  • Extensive experience of developing progressive data and information management solutions and end-to-end development life-cycle support and SDLC processes
  • Experience of leading a team including architects and subject matter experts
  • Established experience delivering data and information management solutions to large numbers of end users
  • Proven experience with Snowflake, Azure, and DBT
  • Extensive experience in architecting and implementing enterprise data warehouse, Master data management, data integration, BI & analytics, content management and data management platforms, including delivering in cloud technologies
  • Experience of creating and implementing data strategies that align with business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture in both cloud based and on prem solutions
  • A comprehensive understanding of data warehousing and data transformation
  • Experience of mapping key Enterprise data entities to business capabilities and applications
