Rocket Lab have partnered with Momentum, to support with recruitment for the growing Electron Production team

Rocket Lab leads in launch and space systems globally. Their rockets and satellites support crucial missions like scientific exploration, Earth observation, climate change combat, and national security. Since 2018, their Electron rocket has been a reliable choice, among the most frequently launched worldwide. 

We are looking for Manufacturing Engineers, who will play a crucial role in the production process, combining technical expertise with problem-solving skills to drive efficiency, quality, and innovation in manufacturing operations for the Electron launch vehicle in Auckland.

We are looking for Avionics, Vehicle Integration, Composites, Propulsion and Mechanical Assembly Manufacturing Engineers from 2 to 10+ years experience.
  
What we're after

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical or related.
  • Experience working as a Manufacturing/Production/Process/Quality Engineer or equivalent. 
  • Experience working in automotive, space, aeronautical or similar, and  exposure to scaling up production/manufacturing.
  • Hands-on technical experience debugging complex systems within a manufacturing environment.
  • Nimble and enthusiastic approach, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, which is ever changing.
