Marketing & Communications Advisor

The Communications & Marketing Advisor supports the achievement of the organisation’s whakakitenga, kaupapa and tikanga – through the ownership of the brand across all communication platforms including website, intranet, social media, all brand collateral both internal and external, and leading the development and implementation of the organisation’s communication and
marketing strategy.

About You:

• Undergraduate degree in marketing or communications.
• Full driver’s licence.
• Several years’ experience in a relevant role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Superior writing ability (including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, and word usage).
• Skilled at using social media, and digital media, and creating content and design.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Proven ability to exhibit professional discretion and handle confidential information.
• Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff and external partners.
• A forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions.
• High level of proficiency with the suite of Office 365 tools.
• Desirable: Relevant sector experience (NGO or similar).
• Desirable: Some experience working with Māori or Pasifika communities.
