Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to practice primary midwifery.  We provide whanau centred care, to hapu whanau in partnership with their LMC. The role will be based in the Midwifery-Lead Unit.

 

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills


For this role, we are looking for a senior midwife who has:
•    A genuine desire to improve equity for whānau by eliminating barriers and bias that
prevent whānau Māori engaging with Maternity services

•    A well-rounded midwifery experience with a passion for primary birthing

•    Knowledgeable in working with and implementing Turanga Kaupapa in practice while embracing the Kaupapa of Te Toka Tumai
