Miles Anderson MP is looking for an MP Support Advisor to join their team. Based in the Wanaka Electorate office for 30 hours per week this is a wide and varied position providing community engagement and constituent services. You'll be providing information and support to constituents, helping your MP engage with the community, and supporting your MP's activities in the community. The ability to build strong and trusted relationships is key to being successful in this role.
You will be sole charge in Wanaka office and will be part of a supportive team with other colleagues based in Oamaru and Wellington.

You'll need to have strong relationship management and interpersonal skills along with the ability to work with a diverse range of people and organisations. You'll need to be able to work autonomously and comfortable connecting online with your colleagues.

The pay band for the role starts at $70,000 per annum and appointments will be based on skills and experience. All employees who work for MPs are employed on an 'events-based' agreement, with your employment linked to your MP. This role is based in the Wanaka Electorate Office for 30 hours per week.
