Are you a dynamic MRI MIT with a current APC in Diagnostic Imaging & MRI?


Te Whatu Ora – lakes, Rotorua Hospital is looking for an MRI MIT to support both the MRI service and general x-ray for the Lakes region. The advertised position is at Rotorua Hospital which has a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T Magnet installed November 2016.
The Department offers a full range of head, body and musculo-skeletal MR imaging.
The General X-Ray
Department is fully equipped with Siemens DR & analogue / DR unit as well as Fluoroscopy, Theatre, GE CT, Siemens MRI, and Ultrasound services.
The Department has three DR rooms, two DR mobiles and a Flat Panel C-arm for Theatre.
We have an in-house CPD programme as well as support for external CPD.


The successful candidate will be working across the MRI suite and general x-ray with the ability to participate in the on call x-ray roster and Saturday MRI sessions. 


The successful applicant must have an MRTB registered MRI Scope of Practice, and an Annual Practising Certificate for Diagnostic Imaging and MR.

Salary range is as per Collective Agreement $92,403 - $107,314 pro rata
