Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About these positions)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding Radiology department at Nelson Hospital. Shifts are on a 24/7 rotating roster Monday - Sunday, working across both MRI and general x-ray with no one working alone at one time. Our team provides a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including: General Radiography, MRI, CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Cardiac Catheterisation and Angiography. 

This is a full-time, permanent position working 80 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE).

The salary range for this position is $92,403 - $107,314 per annum pro rata  based on the NZ APEX MECA MRI scale, dependent on skills, experience, and registration in NZ.

You will be registered with the NZMRT Board, hold a current APC in dual scope of Medical Imaging Technologist and Magnetic Resonance Technologist.  You - ll be a positive and friendly team player, with a sense of humour. 

To succeed in this role you will have:

• A sound knowledge of diagnostic radiography
• Great communication skills and empathy
• The passion to deliver high-quality healthcare
• The flexibility to work within a Monday-Sunday rotating roster. 

Experience with a Siemens Sola MRI is an advantage but not essential.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
