MASH Trust is an innovative provider of health, wellness, and disability support services in the lower North Island. MASH Trust supports thousands of individuals and families, with a dedicated team of 550 employees and volunteers . The organisation operates from multiple locations across the region, including Hawke’s Bay, Manawatu, Horowhenua, Kāpiti, Porirua, Hutt Valley, and Wellington. MASH Trust’s ‘Fit for Future Strategy’ integrates the MASH Way into its operations. This strategic approach aims to harness the collective strength of teamwork, empower high-performing teams, and cultivate a culture of quality, innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability.
 
As part of the next stage of its strategic evolution, MASH Trust is implementing five National Manager roles that will lead the programme delivery teams across the wide range of services. These managers will sit on the Senior Leadership Team with their colleagues from Corporate Services and the Office of the Chief Executive. Aligned with key programme delivery portfolios, and leading centres of excellence, these roles ensure geographic and service-specific accountability, and the advancing of MASH Trust’s national strategy. The
 
National Managers will provide robust leadership, fostering the MASH Way and Quality Framework across service delivery areas.
 
All Registered Nurses and other clinical roles will form one team reporting to the National Manager Multi-Disciplinary Team.
 
This role has overall accountability and responsibility for the multi-disciplinarity services across MASH Trust’s suite of services. The successful appointee will provide clinical leadership and ensure clinical best practice is achieved. A further key function of the role is to ensure organisation-wide and comprehensive ‘critical incident review’ processes are embedded into policy procedures and learning activities.
 
In terms of personal attributes, you will be known for your sound decision making, and your ability to leverage clinical insight. You will have successfully formed and built teams with appropriate and diverse styles, perspectives, and experiences. Comfortable with accountability, your ability to articulate vision and purpose will instil trust in the stakeholders you work with. A strategic leader, you will be people centred and bring experience and knowledge of the health, and /or social or public sectors – particularly in service delivery settings. You will also appreciate cultural issues, tikanga and te Tiriti o Waitangi and its implications for MASH Trust.
