Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)

You will provide cover across the acute inpatient areas and to support the team to maintain consistent and quality service delivery across the working week.

Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)

We are looking for NZ registered Occupational Therapists with a genuine passion for working alongside patients in the acute inpatient setting, through their health journey.

You will have comprehensive clinical assessment and problem-solving skills, and the experience, passion and ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a very supportive team. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with health professionals and agencies, and will be adaptable and resourceful, to enjoy working in a flexible, busy environment promoting interprofessional practice, to meet service needs.

Confidence and experience in managing complex physical health caseloads, and discharge planning is preferable.   Acute physical health inpatient and stroke rehabilitation experience is also desirable.  If this sounds like you, we welcome your application.
