Rotational Inpatients  - Timaru Hospital

Permanent, Full Time, 40 Hours per week (1.0 FTE)

Monday to Friday, Between 7am - 1630

Right now, we are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Allied Health team at Timaru hospital. This team includes Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Orthotics Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Radiology, Speech and Language Therapy, Social Work, Orthotics, Clinical Psychology and Audiology. 

This role is supported by the clinical leader for Occupational Therapy and

works with a supportive multi-disciplinary team to provide Occupational Therapy assessments and a variety of interventions in order to promote patient independence. This is a generalist role that works across the service.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor of Health Science
  • A Current Practising Certificate
  • Excellent Interpersonal/Communication Skills
    (including assertiveness, diplomacy, and sensitivity)
  • Enable NZ Assessor Accreditation
