Office Manager, Auckland – 25-30 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

The opportunity

Roles like this one don't come around often at Audit New Zealand. We are looking for a part-time Office Manager to provide general office and administration duties for our Auckland office.

If you're an experienced office manager or team administrator, we're interested in hearing from you!

You'll be working in a professional services environment, carrying out office administration work to ensure that the office runs effectively and efficiently. The role is Monday to Friday, 25-30 hours per week.

You'll be involved in a variety of activities in this role, including (but not limited to):

  • ensuring that the office is kept clean, tidy, and professional;
  • ensuring that office maintenance is dealt with in a timely manner, including liaising with the Property Manager and our Facilities/Property Team;
  • managing travel arrangements;
  • ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment;
  • organising logistics for internal and external events, including arranging venues and catering;
  • organising and supporting health, safety, and well-being activities;
  • representing the Auckland office on relevant organisation-wide committees;
  • preparing and overseeing budgets for the office and other financial administration; and
  • facilitating and managing on-site contractors.

 

About you

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

  • excellent attention to detail;
  • strong self-management and organisational abilities;
  • competency in virtual meeting technology and Microsoft applications;
  • adaptability, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple pieces of work simultaneously;
  • a results-focused approach to ensure that deadlines are met;
  • strong communication skills and the ability to easily build solid professional relationships;
  • the ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain a positive and flexible attitude;
  • the ability to work as part of a team; and
  • the competence to think on your feet, showing sound judgement and initiative.
