This is a role for a diligent, conscientious and energetic person who has medium-to high level experience in accounting and running an office of a trade business. A high attention to detail when relating to reporting and numbers, a willingness to learn and grow all together with great customer service, both internal and external.

Responsibilities will include:

• Essential Experience in Xero Excel to a high level - 4+ years - Strong analytical & problem-solving skills a must
• Microsoft Office and Teams experience
• Bank/Xero reconciliations
• Simpro admin and system maintenance
• GST reporting and payments
• Tax and ACC Payments
• Asset Register/Depreciation schedule
• Accounts Receivables/Payables
• Monthly reporting of accounts - Balance sheet, Profit and Loss
• HR - recruitment advertising, staff inductions, HR contracts
• Secretarial duties for Board Meetings - Agenda, Minute Taking, Reporting
• Marketing and Website maintenance
• Annual Financial Reporting and Preparation of End of Financials & Journals for Accountant
• Organisation of Team and Client gifting and functions
• Debt Collection and Retention Reporting and follow up
• Managing Progress claims and payment schedules
• Payroll processing ready for payment

Hours of work are 40 hour week, 8 per day, Monday to Friday - flexible start time 7am onwards
