Permanent, Full time, 80 Hours per fortnight, Weekday Office Hours

Right now, we're looking for a Theatre Co-ordinator with lots of experience behind them to become part of the team here in Timaru. You will be supporting and overseeing a team committed to providing excellent peri-operative care. You'll enjoy the flexibility of a truly varied role where there is never a dull moment or a day that looks like another!

You will be responsible for the day-to-day co-ordination of the Operating Theatres, Recovery & Endoscopy suites. This will include maintaining the Theatre roster, managing resources, actively overseeing clinical practice, and ensuring multi-disciplinary team involvement in the peri-operative environment.

Ideally, you will have previous experience in a team coordinating role, or hold strong aspirations toward taking on a leadership role. We are looking for someone who has what it takes to effectively lead a team; including the ability to problem-solve, demonstrate sound professional judgement with excellent communication and rapport-building skills.  A post Graduate qualification or willingness to work towards this will be an advantage. Peri operative experience is essential for this role.
