Operations Manager

The Role:

As Operations Manager, you work alongside the management team to deliver public infrastructure projects for the New Plymouth region. You'll be in a position to develop and grow a team, implement training/mentoring plans, and contribute to the planning of projects. You'll prospect for new business and foster client relations for the company.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing relationships with clients ensuring that their expectations are met
• Working in tandem with Site Supervisors and Project Managers
• Visiting sites to make sure that needs are met in terms of plant equipment and labour, and that projects are running on time and on budget
• Represent your company to both active and prospective clients
• Collaborate with Business & Service Leaders on current & upcoming projects.
• Contribute to the planning, design and implementation of Civil Infrastructure projects across the region.
• Provide exceptional operational leadership

Qualifications:

• You are experienced in the world of civil engineering, and have experience working at a management level in New Zealand,
• Confidence in stakeholder management & client relationships, and business development.
  
• Good English language skills (written & verbal)
  
• Expert technical knowledge of the planning and designs of infrastructure within New Zealand
