Mō te tūranga - About the role

We are looking for an Ophthalmic Photographer to join the Ophthalmology Outpatient Department here at Southland Hospital on a permanent part-time basis.

The primary responsibility of the position is to provide photographic and technical support, as well as associated administrative services for the Ophthalmology Department.

Mōu ake - About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • have a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • be open to new ways of working to provide patients with the most efficient and effective service
  • Hold a level four certificate in Digital Photography (or higher) or be working towards this
  • have ome experience within an ophthalmic field, this would be advantageous but is not essential
  • be flexible in your availability as some occasional weekend work may be required

Utu whānui - Salary range

This role belongs to the DHB/PSA Allied, Public Health, Scientific and Technical Collective Agreement and falls between Steps 1 ($63,842 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 5 ($76,737 p.a. pro-rata) of the Non-Degree Technical Scale.
