Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role

The OST Case Manager will be able to provide assessment and specialised OST treatment in our busy community outpatient addiction service in New Plymouth to adults aged 18 years and over. We will be able to offer the successful candidate the opportunity to provide quality, evidence based treatment in collaboration with people seeking support and the input of the wider multi disciplinary team. You will also have the opportunity to work individually with service users and whanau, collaboratively with colleagues and travel to rural Taranaki to provide services in our satellite clinics.

Moū - About you

Our ideal candidates will have advance assessment skills, a broad range of experience in Opioid Substitution Treatment services or a willingness to learn Opioid Substitution Treatment, and a good knowledge base of mental health and addiction services available both within and focused on specialist addiction providers but also community based and primary services.

We are looking for health practitioners with current APCs and scope of practice to enable working in mental health and addiction services as well as a commitment and enthusiasm to drive change in our service as set down within the service plan.

We can offer you a welcoming and supportive environment with a team that is committed to ensuring you are successful in your role. We will also provide a comprehensive orientation process when you start so that you become familiar not only with our service but also the wider mental health sector in Taranaki.
