We are looking for enthusiastic, headstrong and persuasive Outbound Call Centre Agents, to join us in an incredibly exciting opportunity here in Christchurch, partnering with our American based client: Technology Advice.

Based in Nashville; Tennessee, Technology Advice connect technology buyers in with the world's leading sellers of business technology, via a busy schedule of outbound sales calls. They pride themselves on helping technology buyers manage the complexity and risk of the buying process, facilitating successful connections between technology buyers and sellers.

The work:
Working remotely from your home office in Christchurch, you will be part of the first team here in New Zealand. This position is on a temporary basis that will extend long term for the right candidates. You will need to have flexibility for a schedule that can change weekly (up to 45 hours in total), depending on the call campaign Technology Advice are running.
  • You will be calling into Australia, so hours of work will be Monday - Friday: 10am - 7pm. Hours will vary each week.
  • This is a busy fast-paced phone role, so it is important that you have a dedicated quiet working space, as your main focus will be talking to customers.
Responsibilities:
You will bring to the role passionate communication and sales strategies, which will help you overcome obstacles on the phone, pushing past the no' and driving calls forward. Being a trusted source of information for tech buyers, you will discover new opportunities in direct conversations with potential leads.
  • Performing business-to-business marketing efforts over the phone, identifying qualified leads for our clients
  • Using customised phone scripts, articulating the technical and business benefits of our clients products and services
  • Building rapport with potential leads to gather information
  • Developing and maintaining daily plans to maximise phone interaction time
  • Analysing scripts, processes, and calls, looking for innovative solutions to ensure programmes are running efficiently
Skills and experience required:
  • Experience in a phone based marketing, sales, or fundraising role
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication
  • Results driven, with the ability to persevere and push past the no' to achieve the end goal
  • An energetic phone manner, someone who is able to quickly build rapport
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, thriving on continuously pivoting strategies to drive business needs forward
Tech requirements:
In order to support the necessary systems to work remotely, the following minimum requirements for a laptop/desktop computer are required:
  • Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro, or Mac OS (Windows 10 Home S Mode and Chromebooks do not meet the requirements)
  • Intel i3 processor or comparable
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 250GB of hard drive storage
  • 1920 x 1080 Display Resolution
  • You will be using Zoomphone for calls to Australia
