The payroll and rostering administrator is an important role within our People & Development team; providing a comprehensive payroll service to Te Whatu Ora Tairāwhiti. Rest assured you will always have challenges and new learning opportunities.

 

Ideally, you’ll have a strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and the Holidays Act, and also possess the ability to use your initiative and self-manage when required. As part of the role scope, you’ll be responsible for running payroll reports, data maintenance and running the pay all within a fortnightly deadline.


The remuneration range for this role is $68,903 - $76,114
and is covered by the collective agreement: PSA National Health Administration Collective Agreement


Moū - About you 

To succeed in this role you will ideally have:
  • 2 years + experience in a payroll role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll specific employment legislation and the Holidays Act.

  • Payroll system savvy
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in your work

  • Great communication and relationship skills
  • An ability to work autonomously but still love being part of a team
