About the Role:

Forge strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders while supporting and coaching them across all P&C aspects, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, unions, communication, and leadership development.

The role requires shaping HR strategies, improving policies, and driving employee engagement, talent, and wellbeing programs. It balances national and local objectives, providing a diverse range of responsibilities.

What you’ll bring:
  • Generalist HR experience, ideally in an operational environment.
  • Ability to influence at a senior level.
  • Expert working knowledge of NZ employment legislation.
  • Confidence dealing with complex ER cases.
  • Experience supporting HR in a unionised environment.
  • Ability to coach and influence best HR practices.
  • Drive, passion, and personal ownership for great outcomes.
