The Cancer, Chronic Conditions & Radiology Directorate are looking for a star PA who can help support leadership team (Operations Director, Operations Manager, Nurse Director, Medical Director and the Directorate’s Clinical Heads of Department) as well as the wider directorate to complete all operational day to day activities.


We are seeking someone who is able to establish relationships that will assist with supporting the team. Someone who can maintain a pleasant and calm, but discreet environment, which enhances the image and service of the organisation.



Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide key administrative supportive to the Operations Director
  • Required to support with diary and calendar management.
  • Administer meetings with agenda/minutes.
  • Support the coordination of the complaints, Health & Disability and Official Information Act responses.
  • Monitor and progress capital spend and Trust applications.
  • Administration of Directorate purchasing and accounts payable process
  • Support recruitment processes.
  • Provide admin support to our Heads of Department
  • Support the Medical Director with his national network role.
  • Assist with development of communications and reports and coordinate monthly performance packs
  • Any other adhoc tasks required.

  • A qualification relevant to the position
  • Recent experience in a similar position and level within a large organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high quality, confidential & timely support.
  • Demonstrated ability to be diplomatic, influence and collaborate with others and deal with conflict.
  • Excellent communication (written & oral) and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated minute taking ability.
  • Demonstrated information management skills and experience in creating and formatting electronic documents. Excellent knowledge of office software including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe & Visio and use of electronic diary.
