Pharmacy services provided include:

  • Ward based Clinical Pharmacy to comprehensive range of medical, surgical, mental health and paediatric services
  • Medicine Reconciliation
  • Preparation for Discharge - Secondary/Primary interface
  • Inpatient Dispensing
  • Cytotoxic Dispensing
  • Extemporaneous Compounding
  • Provision of Drug Information
  • Participation in Continuing Education Presentations

We are looking for an intern with the following attributes:

  • Friendly, enthusiastic team member
  • Diligent and willing to learn
  • Initiative to complete allocated tasks, responsibilities and projects

This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, working 72 hours a fortnight (0.9 FTE), commencing January 2025. Applicants must be enrolled with the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand Intern Programme. The minimum requirement for this position is the holding of, or near completion of, a Bachelor of Pharmacy.

The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at the time of applying.
