The role of pre-analytical technician involves the collection (phlebotomy) of laboratory specimens. This role may also extend to data entry and some specimen preparation for testing.
As a pre-analytical technician in our team, you will have collaboration and support to delivery your mahi and contribute to the broader objectives of our busy laboratory.

The phlebotomy service provides a high standard of service in the collection and processing of laboratory specimens including but not limited to venepuncture, urine, swab collection, breath testing, and venesection. The department provides services to all parts of the hospital with daily ward rounds including NICU, outpatients clinic and other departments by request where possible. The department provides training for phlebotomists from around the region (hospitals and community) including infection control.
