Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
This is a rotational
physiotherapy position giving you the opportunity to experience three different
clinical areas. It will include working in areas of Outpatients, acute
inpatients and rehabilitation ward. This well supported placement will give you
an insight into the opportunities available to you as a Physiotherapist within Health
NZ Nelson Marlborough.
You will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary
team providing quality assessment, intervention, advice and discharge planning
through a patient-centred approach. This role requires you to be adaptable to
change, resourceful and flexible to service needs.
Based at Nelson Hospital, this is a full-time role
working 80 hours per fortnight, providing care across a continuum from
inpatients to outpatients.

This position is suitable for
new graduates or more experienced therapists. You
will be a NZ Registered Physiotherapist with clinical assessment and problem-solving
skills with the experience and ability to work both autonomously and
collaboratively. You will have excellent communication skills to liaise with
health professionals and health agencies.
We are looking for a clinician who has a genuine passion for
working with clients
across the continuum and who values being part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The successful
candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ visa at
the time of applying.
