At Manatū Hauora – Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. You will be part of the HRIS and Payroll team within the Corporate Services Directorate, who as a group delivers advice and oversees the assurance functions associated with the organisation as a government department. 


Ko ake mahi - What you'll do 

As the Principal HR Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight and advice across all HR systems within the People & Capability group. You will look to continually enhance our system capabilities and effectively communicate, test, and document changes. You will work closely with the wider People and Capability team to ensure our HR systems are fit for purpose and manage internal/external stakeholder relationships as required.


Ko pūkenga - What you'll bring

  • Extensive HR system experience, with experience leading or participating in HR system projects
  • The ability to prioritise and adapt easily, with a proven track record to deliver within timeframes
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage with a variety of stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced excel, SQL and SSRS knowledge
