This position is a dual role in Professional Advisory and Clinical Practice.
We are looking for a highly skilled Oral Health Therapists to support our teams across the Nelson/Tasman and Marlborough region as Professional Advisor.
The overall purpose of this role is to provide professional advice:
You will act as a role model, leading evidence based best practice and a positive, effective approach to care. This role may require time in both the Nelson and Blenheim region and we will work with you to ensure a sustainable programme of work from your Wairau home base.
The role offers you a great team environment providing dental services to some of the 23,000 children across the region who are enrolled from birth. Our staff will tell you how much they love the relationships formed over the years with children and their families/whanau. You will have a real opportunity to change the lives of whanau/families in our region through helping us to continue to develop our service and our team.
In this role you will be committed to prevention; sealing all permanent molars, with dental assistants applying fluoride varnish between examination appointments. We encourage the use of Hall Crowns and provide all therapists with the full range of restorative options; including rubber dam when required.
