About the role:
We are looking for a dedicated Project Controls and/or Construction Planner to join NZ’s most successful project management and advisory firms. You will be instrumental in planning and guiding some of the countries most interesting projects across the Central North Island spanning major property developments as well as some of NZ’s largest infrastructure programmes.
Your responsibilities include closely collaborating with project managers, clients, contractors & consultants and the wider project teams to prepare programmes and schedule works as well as cost control. Given the client-facing nature of this role, effective communication and relationship management are paramount.
Whether you come from a dedicated project planning background or a civil engineering/site engineering or project management role with exposure to MS Project and/or Primavera P6, this position offers an opportunity to work alongside top-tier project management & project advisory specialists.
About you:
Ideally you will possess the following:
- Construction planning and scheduling experience
- Confident user of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 or similar planning software
- Client facing presentation skills essential
- Experience across large scale construction/infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of contract and law within NZ construction such as NZ3910 and variations
- Relevant tertiary qualification
