About the role:
We are looking for an experienced project planner to plan and schedule multiple packages surrounding the City Rail Link works throughout Auckland. You could also come from an engineering background with a civil engineering degree but looking to shift into a management/advisory role.
You will be working closely with the project team to prepare programmes and schedule works, as well as monitoring progress throughout the project, reporting on, and updating the plan as necessary.
- Schedule works to enable project completion as per contract requirements
- Identify possible risks and plan ahead to mitigate delay
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Maintain overall project schedule throughout variances, delays, issues
This is a client-facing, advisory role in which you will be providing a variety of services to high-profile clients so communication and stakeholder management is paramount!
About you:
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience on civil infrastructure/rail/roading/power generation projects, NZ experience preferred
- High competency with MS Project, P6 or similar
- Fantastic communication and presentation skills
- Ideally, consultancy experience
- Ability to find creative solutions to complex problems
