Description
Manage a broad range of multifaceted projects, including the construction of roads and bridges, stormwater drainage, pumping stations, water and wastewater treatment plants, as well as piling, wharf construction, precast concrete elements and landscaping. You'll be capable of running $1mil/month of civils projects.
Project Managers here have excellent business skills and treat the project as a business enterprise with an eye on the goal of completing on time, with a bigger profit margin than budgeted, and with a client so happy they ask for you by name again. Bringing a focus on health and safety is imperative to this role, as you must assist in driving a strong safety culture in all day-to-day operations.
You will be responsible for the Site Engineers and Project Engineers that are working on your sites. The wide variety of responsibilities that you'll have on-site means that your versatility will shine through for years to come.
About you
- You are a leader who knows how to get the best out of their team
- You have at least 5 years of experience working on civil infrastructure projects
- You are a degree qualified Civil Engineer
- You have worked on civil infrastructure projects that are worth over NZD$5 million
- You understand Tier 1 grade, project management disciplines, and enjoy implementing them to run a tight project
